Employment Opportunities in Study Abroad

The Study Abroad Office of the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business operates as a small business. To operate effectively, students are hired to market and manage programs. Working with Study Abroad can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your college career.
There are two roles for students within the department: Student Manager and Marketing Intern.
  • The role of the student manager is focused on promoting and marketing programs, assisting faculty before and during the program, coordinating program logistics, responding to student questions and needs, and hiring and training new student managers.
  • The role of the marketing intern is focused on designing marketing materials for the promotion of study abroad programs, presenting information to prospective and current students, and coordinating International Week activities and events.

While marketing interns are not required to have been on a program before serving in their marketing capacity, student mangers are required to have participated on a study abroad program as a participant prior to serving as a student manager. Both positions are provided compensation.
