Stephanie Toigo has been an Academic Advisor for the Trulaske College of Business since December 2014. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education with a focus on Special Education: High Incidence Disabilities. Right after college she married the man of her dreams, Alan, and moved to Columbia to work with CRU@ Mizzou, which is a campus ministry. She spent seven years being a spiritual resource for college students. In this job she spent her days mentoring college students, planning fun events including summer long trips all over the world and conferences. After that she was a stay at home mom, a barista, and then she came back to The University of Missouri in 2013 and worked serving faculty and staff in the Division of Biological Sciences. She joined the Business Advising office in August of 2014. Besides advising students Stephanie teaches an SSC 1150 class, she is a co-facilitator for the Exploring Accounting FIG, and works on special projects for the office. She started her Master’s in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs last Spring. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two amazing kids Trenton and Lucy, getting swept away in a great book, sewing, spending time with friends and dreaming of living on a Southern beach someday. Stephanie loves having the opportunity to get to know her advisees and come alongside them in their college journey!
