Felipe Calvano da Silva started the Management Strategy PhD program at the University of Missouri in the Fall of 2017. His research interests include corporate governance and international management, with a particular focus on the impact of board of directors on different organizational outcomes. In addition, he is interested in understanding how and why the impact of board of directors differs in other countries. Felipe is an active member of the Academy of Management.
Before joining the Ph.D. program, he worked as Graduate Assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and his Master's in Business Administration. In his personal time, Felipe enjoys play sports and spending time with family and friends.
