Kurt Lindsey is Senior Customer Executive for Hormel Foods' retail grocery products on the Wal-Mart sales team. Kurt received a BS BA magna cum laude with an emphasis in marketing from Mizzou in 2006. During his time at Mizzou, Kurt served as Marketing Director and Executive Vice President of External Relations for Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. Prior to graduating, Kurt completed a summer internship with Hormel Foods Corporation in the area of product management for the Meat Products Marketing group. After graduation, Kurt became an Assistant Product Manager for the retail ham business within the Meat Products Marketing group for Hormel Foods in 2007, and was subsequently promoted in 2008 to Associate Product Manager. In September of 2008, Kurt changed responsibilities as Associate Product Manager of value added fresh meats and was promoted in March 2011 to Product Manager, value added fresh meats and HORMEL® ALWAYS TENDER® brand. In May 2011, Kurt added category sales responsibilities for value added fresh meats, and served dual roles in the marketing and sales organizations. In October 2011, Kurt was promoted National Category Sales Manager, adding responsibility for Hormel’s retail pepperoni business. In June 2012, Kurt was promoted to his current role as Senior Customer Executive on the Wal-Mart sales team, responsible for the grocery products portfolio.
