Eighty-five percent of Crosby MBA graduates from the MU Trulaske College of Business are employed at graduation, according to the 2013 U.S. News & World Report. Three months after graduation, more than ninety percent are employed.
Overall, the Crosby MBA ranked #27 among public institutions, #54 when both public and private institutions are combined. This marks the second year in a row the program either climbed or remained steady in this ranking. The program rose last year from the previous ranking of #59.
Additionally, out-of-state tuition and fees ranked 7th lowest among the schools ranked in the report. The full-time average undergraduate GPA was 7th highest among public institutions and the program was well-rated by recruiters seeking future employees.
"We are pleased with the results of this report," said Joe Stephens, Director of MBA Programs. "In the current marketplace, prospective students want to see that an investment in their education will result in employment. We are proud to have achieved such robust career placement numbers following the completion of this distinctive MBA program."
The data is part of the annual report which ranks professional school programs in business, education, engineering, law, and medicine. These rankings are based on two types of data: expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research, and students. The data come from surveys of administrators at more than 1,200 programs and nearly 15,000 academics and professionals, conducted during the fall of 2011 and early 2012.
The full-time Crosby MBA Program at the University of Missouri is designed to help students discover true potential. Through a robust classroom experience, real-world skills application and a collaborative student environment, the Crosby MBA encourages students to take strategic risks and positions them for success in business.
