Walton Scholars
Sam M. Walton Scholarships in Business are awarded to incoming freshmen and current college students majoring in economics, finance, international business, management, or marketing at the MU College of Business. Accountancy majors are not eligible for the Walton Scholarship.
The primary qualifications are academic achievement and financial need (you must fill out the FAFSA). Additional consideration is given to an expressed interest in retailing. Recipients must:
- progress toward a business degree
- work part-time (10-12 hours per week) in retailing
- participate in Walton Scholar activities while attending MU
This renewable scholarship provides $6,675 per year prior to receiving the BS BA degree.
