Matt Ronken is the Portfolio Director for the Golden Products Division of Nestlé Purina PetCare. He leads a team of marketers who build notable brands in pet care.
Prior, Ronken was Director of Marketing for Purina’s Global Strategic Business Unit where he led best practices and resource management across global regions, ensuring the successful launch of global product rollouts while monitoring competitive activity around the world.
He also spent ten years in pet food brand management for Nestlé Purina – North America, managing multiple brands including Dog Chow and Friskies, each totaling $1 billion sales.
Ronken started his career as an Account Executive for NCR/AT&T, marketing and selling custom business forms and labels for industrial clients. From there, he moved into a Business Analyst position for Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), a company that contracts with Consumer Packaged Goods companies to track retailer sales, share, and pricing data.
Ronken earned a Bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Missouri in 1992 and an MBA from Saint Louis University in 1997. He has been a member of the Crosby MBA Advisory Board since 2009 and was chairman in 2011.
