Student Development

The Trulaske College of Business hosts an instructional environment that ensures we provide graduates with a competitive advantage as they enter the workforce. It’s all based on our core philosophy – the 3D Learning Model – a combination of relevant courses, out-of-classroom learning, and applied experiences based on a solid core curriculum because we know that student development happens both in the classroom and beyond it.

To give our students an edge over the competition, we prepare them for their careers with a multi-faceted approach. With the Professional Development Program, Business Career Services, Study Abroad, leadership opportunities in student organizations and business fraternities, Mizzou business students are exposed to opportunities for career and personal development throughout their time on campus.

Specifically, we prepare all undergraduates for industry through a required internship. Students are readied in workshops and in the classroom and then placed in competitive internships where they take that knowledge and put it in context. It’s what we do as we continue to graduate the next class of executives and entrepreneurs.
