Sherry has been engaged in private law practice since 1992.  She began her practice as a sole practitioner, but the firm grew to become Mariea, Sigmund, & Browning, LLC.  The firm's practice focuses primarily in the areas of real estate law, corporate law, and employment law.  Sherry’s principal client base includes banks, real estate investors, real estate developers, and various associations from all over Missouri.  In her practice, Sherry regularly negotiates multi-million dollar projects, communicates with attorneys, judges, and other professionals from all around the country, and frequently gives presentations related to her areas of practice.

During Sherry’s time practicing law, she also started a company called the Doerhoff Network, Inc., which spun off to become 3D Career Development Co., L.L.C.  Both companies were dedicated to providing continuing education services for various groups of licensed professionals.  Sherry managed each of those entities and taught classes in connection with the course offerings made available through the companies.
