Professor Yin is a member of the Association for Information Systems. His primary research interests include the role of emotions in online communications, consumer biases in online word-of-mouth, and advertising in social media. His teaching interests are in the area of Information Systems. He has presented his work in several conferences including International Conference on Information Systems, INFORMS annual meeting, and Pacific-Asia Conference on Information Systems.
