Steven Mintz
Steven Mintz is a professor of accounting in the Orfalea College of Business at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State. Mintz holds a doctorate in accounting and international business from The George Washington University.
His professional accomplishments include: service as an expert panelist for cases in the “Quality of Financial Reporting” for the American Institute of CPAs; participation in a focus group for the Society of Management Accountants in Canada in its project “Implementing Corporate Ethics Strategies;” and development of a Featured Collection on “Earnings Management” for the Aspen Institute’s program on corporate social responsibility and governance.
Mintz has written and taught more than 10 continuing education courses in ethics for public and private entities. He has published more than 20 research papers on business and accounting ethics. He is the author of two textbooks on accounting ethics including the most recent titled Ethical Obligations and Decision-Making in Accounting: Text and Cases.

Roselyn Morris
Roselyn Morris is the chair of the McCoy College of Business Administration’s Department of Accounting at Texas State University-San Marcos. Morris received her undergraduate degree in mathematics from Texas Christian University and a masters of science degree in accountancy and a PhD in business administration from the University of Houston.
Morris has been active in the Texas accounting profession for many years.
She is currently chair of the Editorial Board and Professional Ethics Committees and a foundation member on the Accounting Education Foundation for the TSCPA, as well as an at-large board member of TSCPA for 2008-2009. Morris is also a member of the Qualifications Committee of the Texas Board of Public Accountancy. Additionally, Morris is involved with a variety of civic organizations and has served or is serving on the boards of C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of Central Texas, SMCISD Taskforce and Bond Oversight Board on School Facilities, and Central Texas Higher Education Authority.
Joining the McCoy business faculty in 1993, Morris’ teaching areas include ethics and auditing. Her teaching awards include the Texas Society of CPAs Outstanding Educator for 2002, the Texas State College of Business Administration’s Teaching Excellence Award for 2000, and the Technology Innovation Award from Accounting Instructors’ Report in 2001. Her research areas are auditing independence and ethics.

Richard M. Orin
Richard Orin is an attorney and a CPA in New York, New York. He earned a BS BA in 1949 from MU and was elected into Beta Gamma Sigma business honor fraternity and Alpha Pi Zeta. While at MU, he was also a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. He earned two degrees from New York University; a JD in 1955 and an LLM in taxation in 1957. Orin is a founding member and former president of the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. He was a 1988 DR Scott Memorial Lecturer and is the author of Professional Ethics published by the Foundation of Accounting Education. Orin served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and in the U.S. Army in the Korean conflict. He is the recipient of the Meritorious Service Award presented by the U.S. Selective Service system. He resides in New York, New York and has two children and six grandchildren. He is a member of the college's Herbert J. Davenport Society. |

the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business
The Trulaske College of Business, founded in 1914, today enrolls nearly 4,000 undergraduate students and more than 345 graduate students. The college has four academic units – Accountancy, Finance, Management, and Marketing – with 64 full-time faculty members. The college offers an undergraduate degree in business administration, an MBA degree, a 150-hour program that confers both undergraduate and master’s degrees in accountancy, and PhD degrees in both accountancy and business administration.
