Ilbey Budak joined the accounting doctoral program at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business in August 2019. Before starting Ph.D., he was a senior financial analyst at the University of Wisconsin system. He is currently a member of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, AICPA and Internal Management Accountants Houston Chapter. His research interests include forensic audits, auditors’ professional skepticism, and evidence collection in fair value measurements.
He is married with two kids. He likes trekking, travelling and reading.
