Film Premier - Call of the Entrepreneur

When: 4/24/2008

The Flegel-Source Interlink Academy of Aspiring Entrepreneurs is presenting a new, one-hour documentary about the essential role that entrepreneurs play in society. The "Call of the Entrepreneur," a compelling work that has won rave reviews from business people, public policy groups and students, tells the life stories of a merchant banker, a failing dairy farmer, and a refugee from Communist China as one risks his savings, the other his farm and the last his life.

The documentary asks important questions: What is an entrepreneur? How are they portrayed in today’s society? What do they contribute to the economy? Why are they driven to create wealth?

This is an exciting film that will focus on concepts that are currently being taught as a part of our business curriculum including, risk elimination through diversification, time value of money, commercial insurance, and multiple macroeconomic concepts.

The film is free and open to everyone.
