Paul Michas, CPA, MBA, is a doctoral student in the School of Accountancy. His research interests are in the areas of auditing, financial reporting, international accounting and emerging markets. Before joining the department, he received an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree in political science/international relations from the University of Iowa. He is a Certified Public Accountant registered in the state of Illinois and worked in public accounting for five years in the Chicago-land area before joining the department at the University of Missouri-Columbia. When he is not working, he enjoys playing tennis and music.
