Michael Imhof joined the Doctoral Program in the School of Accountancy in the spring of 2008. His research interests include capital markets, issues in international accounting, and the interplay between corporate investment and financial reporting quality. He holds a BBA in Finance and an MBA in Business Administration from Pittsburg State University. Work experience includes over 10 years in the residential construction industry. Before coming to the University of Missouri, Michael worked with economists at the Texas Center for Border Economic & Enterprise Development at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas. For recreation he enjoys traveling, fishing, hiking, and reading.
