Welcome!

I am Barbara Schneider, Coordinator of Recruiting and Admissions.  We are glad you are interested in the MU Crosby MBA Program, and are happy to help you with the application process. Jan Curry can assist with your initial inquiries, you can meet with Traci Scardina to learn more about the opportunities our program offers uniquely for you, and anyone on our office staff can help clarify the requirements and answer your questions - just contact us by email at mba@missouri.edu or by telephone at (573) 882-2750.

Admission to the Crosby MBA Program is selective; students admitted to the program are committed to academic and professional success. Admission depends primarily upon the quality of the undergraduate work, the score received on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), leadership skills and prior work experience, if any. For the year 2006, our entering class had an average GMAT score of 624 and average undergraduate grade point of 3.4. Work experience is not required for admission, but is desirable and can strengthen most applications. Outstanding applicants without work experience are also welcome to apply. Admissions are handled on a “rolling” basis, and we try to make decisions quickly after we receive your complete set of application materials.  Many highly qualified students receive a significant financial support package, some of which cover your entire cost of tuition!

Entry times are flexible. Entry to the Crosby MBA is available during the Fall Semester (August), Winter Semester (January), or Summer Session (June). Application deadlines are typically August 1, December 1, and May 1 respectively although applications are encouraged early in the semester prior to entry, particularly for international students. Exceptions to deadlines are possible if GMAT scores and transcripts are available.

AACSB Accredited The Crosby MBA Program is highly ranked and fully accredited. U.S. News and World Report named the program as one of the nation's Best Graduate Schools for 2008.  Our program is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). By applying measurements that have wide acceptance in the educational community, the AACSB International accreditation process assures that a school has made a commitment to quality through continuous improvement in areas such as faculty resources and qualifications, curriculum, intellectual climate, admissions policies, degree requirements, library and computer facilities, and physical plant.
