Dale Roberts has served as an adjunct member of the faculty, continuously, since August of 1989. He is the author of Introduction To Business Law, (© University of Missouri, 1993) and from 1995 to 2005 he served as Editor of the Utilities Law column of the Missouri Bar’s monthly publication Courts & CLE Bulletin.  He is currently writing a chapter on Investigations Law which is scheduled to be published in a Missouri Bar Deskbook in 2010. 


 Dale graduated from Creighton University, in 1984, after completing his senior dissertation on The Influence of Classical Civilization on the Colonial American College: 1640 to 1790.  He studied Latin, Greek and Classical Civilization and was the 54th student in Creighton’s history to receive a Classical Bachelor of Arts.  He attended the University of Missouri School of Law and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1986.  In 2002, he completed a five-year advanced judicial studies program with the National Judicial College, University of Nevada at Reno.  Dale worked in private practice, as a Partner in the firm Crepeau & Roberts, P.C., served as Chief  administrative Law Judge of the Missouri Public Service Commission,  Director of the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control, and Assistant Chief Investigations Counsel with the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration.  Dale retired from his position with the state of Missouri in May of 2009.  He continues a very limited practice in the areas of his expertise and consults on matters related to the agencies with which he worked.
