The School of Accountancy at MU ranks among the “top ten” in the
nation for universities having students with advanced degrees who pass all subjects
taken on the national CPA Exam.
- The May 2001 CPA Exam Gold Medalist, MU grad Jennifer Popp, received the AICPA’s
Elijah Watts Sells Gold Medal for the highest score in the nation out of more
than 48,000 candidates. The Elijah Watts Sells gold medal has been awarded to
two Missourians in the history of the CPA Exam.
- The May 2003 CPA Exam Bronze Medalist, MU grad Debra Keim, earned the third
highest score in the nation out of almost 50,000 candidates.
- Students from the School of Accountancy at MU consistently earn gold, silver,
and bronze medals for the highest scores in the state of Missouri on the national
CPA Exam.
