Advising

When do I need to see an advisor ? How do I see them?

We encourage you to see your advisor 1-2 times each semester to keep planning your academic career. Meeting with your advisor allows you to talk about classes, learning styles, goals, and out-of-class experiences. You are allowed to register for classes at registration time without seeing an advisor (unless you have a Probation Hold on your record). To make an appointment with your advisor, call 882-7073.

Where is the Dean's office?

The Undergraduate Advising Office, 111 Cornell Hall, is the dean's office for College of Business undergraduate.

Is my registration time the same time I have an appointment with my advisor?

No, it is not the same. Your registration date and time is when you can register for classes by using MyZou, telephone, or going to 130 Jesse Hall. An advising appointment is made by the student, preferably prior to your registration date and time.

Who is my advisor?
