Bergamo City Center and its Old City
Bella Bergamo (beautiful Bergamo) boast a very old city center known as Citta Alta (Old City). It has many wonderful and tucked away restaurants and shops. It is a favorite spot for Bergamo's many tourists. Bergamo has a population of about 120,000 citizens.

The Modern Business Building at Bergamo Univertsity
Students enjoy the outside main entrance to the modern business building at Bergamo University. During class breaks or just between classes, students gather outside, especially in May and June, to talk with friends and enjoy the very pleasant weather.

Summer 2002 Class at Bergamo University
The students really enjoyed combining computer exercises with the course concepts in Dr. Franz's project management course. The computer classroom was very modern and students had access to the Internet through state-of-the-art computer technology.

The business school at Bergamo University has a cafeteria where students and faculty enjoy a variety of options for lunch. A typical lunch costs less at the cafeteria than a simple tomato/cheese pizza at a local pizzeria (about $4.00 in Summer 2002).

Fresh vegetables and fruits are available every day in the local grocery stores. The stores buy from local producers around Bergamo, to maintain the freshness and flavor for what Italian food is known.
