MBA International Career Workshop

What: International Career Workshop – Sharon Lee, Coordinator of International Student’s Career Services and Jill Hermsen, Coordinator of International Student Services.

TOPIC: This career services workshop will feature two MU International student experts who will present on topics of interest to International students. They will provide an overview of the various options and regulation for working MBA students, in addition to offering guidance to those International MBAs who would like to purse long-term employment in the U.S. There are certain steps and guidelines one needs to take with their Visa status when obtaining an internship and full time employment. Make sure you plan ahead and see what is involved. Moreover, pertinent issues such as American-style resume writing, interviewing, and job searching techniques will be discussed. Finally, you will leave with some practical tools and handouts to assist you in your unique internship and job exploration.
