Instructions for Students to Apply for Jobs (Pre-Screen)

To apply for an interview, a student must be registered with Business Career Services.

  • Registration entails a one-time fee that is valid until graduation and one semester following, OR if you have accepted full time employment before then.. Once registered, students can sign up for on-campus interviews and also post his/her resume in a web resume book by uploading the document in the appropriate folder. Recruiters may then search the web resume book(s) for eligible applicants.

The Experience eRecruiting Network provides a medium for both recruiters and students to coordinate their job-search endeavors. Employers can post job descriptions outlining the requirements for employment consideration such as GPA, major, work experience, work authorization, etc. Students can then review the job & internship opportunities and apply online for a chance to interview.

  • Login to mubiz.erecruiting.com
  • Click the Jobs & Internships tab
  • Under One-click searches, choose "with upcoming on-campus interviews"
  • Click Apply Online link at the bottom of the job description. Click on this link to open the Apply for Job/Internship/Co-op page, and then use the drop-down menus to select the documents you wish to submit with your resume. Y
  • Once you have been accepted for a job interview, sign up for an interview time by going to the "Applications" page and click on the "Details" link displayed by the job title. On the "Application Details" page, click on "Sign up for an Interview" then click on the radio button for the available slot you would like. Click the SAVE button.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are pre-selected by an employer, you MUST interview. Illness or emergencies are the only exceptions for a missed interview - Business Career Services MUST be notified as soon as possible.
