Crosby MBA Welcomes You

The Crosby MBA Program welcomes applications from military personnel and veterans.  The experiences and skills learned in the military – teamwork, leadership, accomplishing objectives – are an invaluable foundation for a successful MBA experience. An MBA degree enhances those abilities and opens doors to many different career paths. The individuality provided by the Crosby MBA Program allows you to develop your personal plan of action for future success. Our rolling admissions flexibility allows you to apply late in an admissions cycle if necessary, and you can enter in January, June or August.

Campus Veterans Center

The MU campus is military-friendly and provides resources for veterans as well as reservists and active duty military.  The MU Veterans Center opened in Fall 2008 in temporary facilities and has just moved into new offices in Memorial Union. The staff provides personal assistance with the transition back to school and coordinates administration of veterans’ benefits.   The Center offers a welcoming and comfortable environment for our veterans to interact with one another and take full advantage of the educational and social opportunities here at MU. 

Mizzou Student Veterans Association

The University of Missouri student veterans have also created the Mizzou Student Veterans Association (MSVA).  Dan Sewell, Crosby MBA '11, former president of that organization, is now a Crosby MBA student.  Read his comments about choosing an MBA program and how his military experiences prepared him. GMAC Military-Friendly MBA Program

The University of Missouri Crosby MBA Program is designated a Military-Friendly School by the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC).  If you have been on active duty within three years of your application to our program, please contact us at mba@missouri.edu prior to submitting your application so that we can provide you with the benefits associated with that designation, including:
   - waiver of the application fee
   - evaluation of your qualifications for financial awards if you have or will have transitioned from the service in the two years prior to enrolling in our program, and 
   - a one-year deferment if your plans are delayed by your service requirements.

Yellow Ribbon School

The University of Missouri is a Yellow Ribbon School as established by the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008.
