Katia Allexi

Katia Allexi is a third-year doctoral student at the University of Cologne, Germany. She studied at the National University of Singapore and at the University of Cologne and holds a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Cologne, Germany. Her majors are retailing, management, logistics, and business psychology. Katia’s research interests focus on pricing, promotion, and consumer behavior. Her study on the optimal design of store flyers was recently published in Transfer - Werbeforschung und Praxis. For her dissertation research, she analyzes the influence of reference products on the overall store price image of a retailer. This research project was awarded best research proposal of 2008 by the Wolfgang Wirichs Foundation.
