Demetra Andrews

Demetra Andrews is a doctoral candidate in Marketing at the University of Houston where she is in her fourth year. She earned an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin with concentrations in Marketing and Finance and a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University. Her research interests center on Sequential Decision Making and Decision Inhibition with specific interest in the effects of uncertainty on choice. She has presented her research on the carry-over effects of choice at the ACR conference, the Behavioral Decision Research in Management conference, and the AMA Summer Educator's Conference. Her research has been published in MIT Sloan Management Review and Advances in Consumer Research. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, Demetra enjoyed a successful corporate career in marketing strategy and management. Demetra enjoys public speaking and writing poetry.
