Kersi Antia

Assistant Professor of Marketing
University of Wisconsin-Madison

Kersi D. Antia is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has also taught at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Southern California. Professor Antia’s research deals with the governance of inter-firm relationships (vertical channel relationships, franchising, strategic alliances) and the impact of technology, particularly the Internet and its information sharing capabilities, on these relationships. Though trained as a survey researcher, he has developed a significant interest in longitudinal analysis. In particular, Professor Antia’s ongoing projects make use of latent growth curve modeling, mixture modeling of longitudinal data, and mixed regression models to inform his substantive research interests. He has a great interest in integrating multiple sources of data - archival and cross-sectional survey data, for instance - to inform his empirical work.
