Harvey P. Eisen Bio
Harvey Eisen graduated from MU with a BS BA
degree in 1964. Since then, he has earned acclaim as one of the country's leading portfolio managers and
has been a frequent panelist on TV investment shows. Mr. Eisen retired from his position as senior vice president of investments at Travelers Corporation in 1998. He is now chairman of Bedford Oak Advisors in Mount Kisco, New York.
A member of the college's Strategic Development Board, Mr. Eisen underwrites an elective finance course that examines the investing strategies of Warren Buffett. For each of three academic years, he has arranged for College of Business students to travel to Omaha, Nebraska, for a personal question-and-answer session with Mr. Buffett. Mr. Eisen resides in Mount Kisco with his wife, Andrea Herron, and their two children.
