Making Me Marketable
Student participation in Making Me Marketable has grown from about 25 students in its inaugural year of 2001 to 130 students in 2006. This career counseling event is presented annually by the Department of Marketing in conjunction with the department’s Advisory Board, and gives students the opportunity can attend sessions that counsel them on what they can be doing now to make themselves marketable to potential employers as well as what they can be doing to be an attractive candidate and present themselves well. Interested students can also gather information about careers in various industries and companies, receive career counseling advice, network, and help build their résumés.
