Financial Aid

We have a very limited number of teaching assistantships and research assistantships to award each semester. We have over 100 graduate students who compete for about 20 positions. If you are interested in a position, you can indicate it on your admission application.

Teaching and research assistantships normally pay about $4,900 per academic year and waive both education fees and non-resident fees.  These assistantships usually require 10-20 hours per week of teaching or research related work.

Additional financial aid may be available from the University. Information can be obtained by contacting the Office of Student Financial Aid, 11 Jesse Hall (telephone: 573-882-7506).
