NOTE: Our application process has changed!
*The MU Crosby MBA Program is no longer requiring applicants to submit a departmental application (except in special circumstances as noted at the bottom of this page). Instead, we are asking that applicants include all information in the
University of Missouri online Graduate School Application
. If you have already submitted your MBA departmental application, you do not need to upload a personal statement in your Graduate School Application (although you may, if you would like!). Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have questions!
The Crosby MBA Program uses a rigorous set of
admissions criteria
and evaluates all applications carefully to select a highly qualified, talented and diverse entering class. Be sure to check

Please note that all applicants are automatically considered for financial awards (graduate assistantships, tuition waivers, and scholarships) from the Crosby MBA Program – no separate application is required.
Applicants must submit the following information:
1)
An
online
University of Missouri Graduate School application
.
An application fee of $55 for domestic and $75 for international applicants applies; the application fee is non-refundable and is not applicable to any future fees.
2)
A
resume and personal statement
, which should be uploaded in the
“Supplemental Information”
section of the online Graduate School application:
Personal Statement
. Introduce yourself to us! Write a 1-3 page statement addressing the following topics, and
providing specific examples
whenever possible:
· Career goals.
Describe your career interests and any experience you have related to this career; please indicate if you are interested in a particular concentration or one of our dual MBA programs (BSIE, MSIE, JD, or MHA).
· Choose to thrive.
What does this statement mean to you; in your past, present, and future?
Resume.
A current resume which includes the following information:
· Work experience
(full-time, part-time, internships, co-ops, etc.). Be sure to include the number of hours worked per week, as well as the month and year for all work experience, particularly any post-graduate experiences (e.g
.
January 2010 – December 2010
,
January 2011 – Present
).
· Leadership experience
(membership/leadership roles in organizations, volunteering, etc.).
· Honors /awards
you have received.
3)
Test Information:
Please arrange to have your official
GMAT (code 596-15-82
)
or GRE (code 6875)
scores sent to the University of Missouri; you may also upload your unofficial test scores in the online Graduate School application
“Test Information”
section to expedite review of your application by the MBA program.
4)
Transcripts:
Please arrange to have official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you have attended mailed directly to the
MU Graduate Admission Office, 210 Jesse Hall, Columbia, MO 65211
. If you attended MU, we will obtain your transcripts and you need not do so, although you do need to provide transcripts of any course work taken after your earlier MU enrollment. You may also upload copies of your transcripts in the
“Educational History”
section of the online Graduate School application to expedite review.
5)
Recommendations
: Letters of recommendation are optional. If you would like to submit one or more letters of recommendation, please refer to the instructions provided in the
“Recommendations”
section of the online Graduate School application, or have your recommenders mail them directly to the
MU Crosby MBA Program, 213 Cornell Hall, Columbia, MO 65211.
Special Instructions for:
Dual BSIE/MBA Applicants
Current MU undergraduate BSIE students that have at least one full semester remaining in their program may fill out the
Change of Degree Form
and complete the
Crosby MBA Department Application
online in lieu of completing the MU Graduate School application; you may email your resume and personal statement to mba@missouri.edu, or bring them to the MBA office in 213 Cornell Hall.
Students Currently Enrolled in a Graduate Program at MU
If you are currently enrolled in another graduate program (such as the MHA program) or as a non-degree graduate student at MU, you should fill out the
Change of Degree Form
and complete the
Crosby MBA Department Application
online in lieu of completing the MU Graduate School application; you may email your resume and personal statement to mba@missouri.edu, or bring them to the MBA office in 213 Cornell Hall.
Students previously enrolled in the MBA Program
If you previously attended the MBA Program at MU, please fill out a
Re-enrollment Form
and complete the
Crosby MBA Department Application
online in lieu of completing the MU Graduate School application; you may email your resume and personal statement to mba@missouri.edu.
International Students
An Official TOEFL or IELTS score is required for every applicant whose native language is not English. The minimum TOEFL score requirement for the College of Business is 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 79-80 (internet-based). The minimum IELTS score is 5.5. Include your score information in the “Test Information” section of the online Graduate School application, and arrange to have your official scores sent directly to the University; MU's code is 6875. Please

for additional application information, including exceptions to the English Language testing requirement.
