Robyn Ridgway, the Crosby MBA program Senior Academic Advisor, was honored at the MU Tribute to Women held March 22, 2007.  This award is the result of her efforts with the Crosby MBA Women’s Committee in establishing membership in the National Association for Women MBAs, encouraging student participation in their annual conference in St. Louis in fall 2006, and promoting the advancement of MBA women through advocacy and support.

Robyn was also selected as this year’s recipient of an Excellence in Education Award by the MU Student Affairs Office and the MU Parents Association.  This award was instituted to recognize and show appreciation for university professionals who create opportunities beyond the classroom.  In addition to her advisory position with the MBA Association, Robyn has helped facilitate the MBA Language Partners program, hosted those participants at a bonfire at her home, and is instrumental in developing and implementing the study abroad opportunities in Italy, Paris, and London.

The nomination letters described Robyn’s dedication and extensive service to MBA students as a conscientious academic advisor, an enthusiastic student activities supporter, and a very insightful life coach.  She was also cited for her patience, accessibility, and willingness to make the extra effort for each individual student.
