Crosby MBA Program

Building on its recent progress, the college will further enhance the quality and, as a result, the national reputation of the MBA program.

According to recent graduates, some of the strengths of the college’s Crosby MBA Program are a rigorous and innovative curriculum, including the team-building consulting classes, and numerous networking opportunities. In that vein, during the past year, 33 MBA teams were involved in consulting projects with varied organizations such as Suzuki of Columbia, IconoPsych LLC, and the Missouri Film Commission.

The college is pleased and very proud that the Crosby MBA Program has steadily increased in national rankings over the past five years, moving up from #81 in 2003 to #59 in the 2007 rankings compiled by U.S. News & World Report.

The MBA program was the college’s top priority in its prior plan and is one of the renewed priorities in the new plan. To sustain quality and hopefully enhance quality in the program, a curriculum review is underway. The new curriculum is likely to emphasize interdisciplinary problem-solving approaches, more elective courses, and an enhanced professional development component.
