As a Lead Recruiter for Aerotek in Chicago, IL, Tim cultivated a finite understanding of industry-wide standards in hiring and employment practices and trained and developed each new recruiter for Aerotek to come to similar knowledge levels and practices. His experiences as a business professional coupled with his desire and aptitude for education and training new business professionals has bridged his career to this point in time. After his time with Aerotek , Tim and his family have come to Columbia where he grew up as a child. He and his wife, Renae McIntosh, recently welcomed their first child to the world, a son, Henry. Renae is a Registered Nurse for the University Hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and like Tim, came to the University in October. Tim’s father, Mark McIntosh, has worked for the University for over 25 years in a research capacity in the field of Microbiology and is currently Chair for the Department.
