TY BAILEY is Vice President of Marketing for The Shelter Insurance Companies. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University in 1977.  After graduation, Ty began his insurance career with Allstate Insurance as a personal lines underwriter in the Jackson, Mississippi Regional Office.  In 1979, he joined Shelter as a sales agent.  He then joined Shelter's sales management team in 1981 and has served in several management positions within Shelter's Marketing Department. He assumed his current role with the company in April 2005.
