KEMP STRICKLER, is the Consumer Understanding & Insight Manager for Consumer Activation at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City. In this role, Kemp leads the marketing research and marketing analytics activities in support of Hallmark's Marketing division. Kemp graduated from Mizzou in 1982 with a BS in Industrial Engineering and then earned both his MS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from MU. Kemp joined Hallmark in the Operations Research Department where he led the introduction of Geographic Information Systems technologies to Hallmark. For the last several years, Kemp has led the consumer research function for a number of Hallmark businesses including New Business Development, Season Cards, Gifts, Ethnic Cards, Ornaments, and Hallmark.com, as well as supporting internal groups such as Marketing and Creative. Kemp received the Trulaske College of Business's Citation of Merit in 2010.
