"Embeddedness of Marketing Capabilities"

Rebecca J. Slotegraaf is Assistant Professor of Marketing and Lilly Faculty Fellow at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Rebecca's research addresses the nature and effect of resources, marketing capabilities, and deployment actions on competitive advantage. She has published in multiple outlets, including the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. Her research has also been presented at numerous leading marketing conferences and has been supported by several research grants, including one from the Marketing Science Institute. Rebecca is also a recipient of several honors, including the 2005 Jagdish N. Sheth Award for Best Paper in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, a 3M Junior Faculty Award at the Kelley School of Business, and a nominee for the AMA StratSIG Early Career Contributions Award. She has also been a Track Chair for two consecutive American Marketing Association Winter Educators' Conferences. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2000.
