Vita
Brent’s research interests include technology, science-based business, decision making, and white collar crime. His current work includes research that investigates the performance implications of adopting new technology, the role of the scientist in driving innovation, the psychological impact of new technology on decision making in organizations, as well as the impact of crime history and acquisition activity on subsequent white-collar crime.
Before coming to Mizzou Brent worked for 5 years as a program analyst in the Aerospace industry and as a financial & actuarial analyst in the Banking and Insurance industries. His educational background includes a BS in Statistics (2004) and an MBA in Finance (2008) from Brigham Young University. Brent teaches the Strategic Management capstone class in the Trulaske School of Business and previously taught Spanish for 2.5 years at Brigham Young University.
