Technology Equipment

The College of Business provides a variety of technology equipment available for check out to faculty, staff and students. This equipment is generally available on a first come, first served basis.

Generally, all equipment should not leave Cornell Hall. An exception to this is the case where faculty, staff or PhD student has a reservation for the following morning and there are no intermediate scheduled reservations.

Reservations are automatically canceled if equipment is not picked up within 15 minutes.

Checkout procedure for Faculty, Staff, and PhD Students

PHD students will need to contact Instructional Support Services to reserve equipment.

Faculty and staff and may make reservations for equipment by recording the time slot in the appropriate Outlook Calendar, found in the Public Folders. To reserve equipment:

In Outlook, make sure you are able to view the "Folder List". If you cannot, click on the "View" menu and then select "Folder List".

On your Folder List, scroll down to and click once on each item:

Public Folders > All Public Folders > Columbia > Departments > Business

Click on the resource you wish and schedule for the time slot you wish. On the subject line enter the name of the person using the equipment; on the location line enter the name of the person making the reservation and the date the reservation is made. Pick up the equipment at the appointed time and make sure to return it in time for the next resource request.

Available Equipment

Accountancy, Finance, Marketing and Management equipment is only available to faculty, staff or PhD students.

  • 2 portable projectors
  • 1 portable projector screen
  • 1 wireless USB microphone
